Working with an earth based colour palette, Rowe has created matte surface finishes inherent to raw materials. Sediment is the colour of the fired clay body used to make the range and the surfaces Iron Ore, Sand and Chalk have each been developed specifically by Anchor for Ridge.
Ridge’s design draws from inter-disciplinary research and development practice in tactility, materiality, circularity, and hybrid making processes. The studio
has used a proprietary ceramic material with 100% recycled content. Anchor’s circular making processes draw on landfill diverted resources sourced from production activities and production partners. Each form is the product of over 30 making stages, the majority of which are crafted by hand.
